Story 4 The Girl in the Window

A long time ago, there was once a teenage boy named, "Jeremy".  He was a nice fellow, always bright, strong, talented, and not to mention, smart. He lived in a small town called "Bon Air". Everyday as he walked home from work he crossed the house of someone that was special to him. The house belonged to the girl he fancied, the girl he would do anything for.

One day as he was striding on that dirt road, he looked up at the window of this house. The girl was sitting next to it, looking at a book. The boy then decided to get her attention, he was lifting a log of wood, so being the smart boy he was, he decided to make it look heavier than it was.

He rested it on the ground, then wiped the "sweat" off of his face, but when the wood smashed against the ground it made a loud thud.

The boy was hunched there for a couple of seconds, then out of the corner of his eye gazed upon the window. The girl was staring at him. She had flawless skin, curly blonde hair, and fine clothes. She put a mark on the page and ran off. A few seconds later she appeared at the front door with a pair of boots on. She sprinted over to him and asked, "Do you need some help, I've always noticed you walking by, it must be hard."

He panted fakely, "Oh- no, no it isn't much of a hassle. I have to work anyways so, why not pull full effort?" He laughed awkwardly while she grinned. He lifted the wood once again, making it look much harder than it was.

She replied, "Well I'll keep you company on your way home."

The boy blushed a bit, but responded, "Uh, yeah, s-s-thanks."

"So um, Jeremy, what exactly is your job?"

"I cut wood and deliver it on foot, not the best job around, I know, but you do anything to get the bread on the table."

"Oh I know! I mean, my job doesn't pay much either, but i enjoy it, and it gets what I need done."

Jeremy did not know Lindsay had a job. "Well what's your job?"

"I haven't told you yet? I am an author, I write fantasy, I also analyze and edit books for others, that's why I sit up in my window all day and read."

Jeremy nodded with a smile. "Your job sounds fun! You get to make up what you want! You know, I do write poems myself."

"Really, maybe sometime you should send me one."

And later that night, he wrote a poem and delivered it by owl to her window. Lindsay took the letter and smiled to see it was from Jeremy.

It was a love poem, and the next day, the two ended up in each other's arms...

The Finish Havens

James then asked Redmond, “As you were saying, what are ‘Finish Havens’?”
Redmond replied, “the story can be a chilling one, be prepared is all I ask.”
Moze grabbed James’s arm, as if it was protection. James replied, “I’m ready.”
Jet nodded in agreement. Redmond leaned forward and started the story. “It was about five hundred thirty four years ago, an army of men needed shelter in the war. So they went to a shack that seemed like it was abandoned. When they entered, there were surprised to see a dirt floor, and a ring of elderly ladies. They all possessed an object.
“The first lady had a creepy face, it was dark and gloomy, she carried a beating heart that was ripped out of a human, the blood was still squirting, and the human that had died because of this was lying in a fire in the center of the circle. His body was mutilated.
“The second lady, you could not see, her robes covered her face, she carried a book, the book was black, and it carried powerful dark magic in every single letter of ink, poisonous magic.
“The third lady, her face was covered in deep gashes; openings in her skin were everywhere, you could see the inside of her face sometimes. This lady had a bucket, inside the bucket was a quill; the quill’s ink was also dark, poisonous magic.
“The fourth and final lady looked like any old lady, but something about her seemed eerie. She carried a stone. Engraved on the stone was a symbol. It was a snake. The woman twirled it in her hands, and stared into the fire.
“The leader of the army asked, ‘Hello, we bring no harm, we just ask for a place to stay.’
“There was no response from any of the women. So that leader asked once more, ‘Can we stay here for a night?’
“There was still no response; all of the men from the army entered the shack, because it started storming outside as soon as the leader asked the question. Then the first woman said in a sharp, dark voice, ‘Leave at once, before you all have to pay for it!’
“So the leader replied, ‘We will pay money, but we have to stay, there is a storm brewing out there.’
“The second lady hissed, ‘Leave now! You will be in mortal danger if not!’
“The leader pleaded and pleaded, but was rejected furthermore. The third lady, said, ‘One more plea and you will suffer the worst of fates!’
“The leader kept on trying, and that is when it happened. The first lady turned into a giant snake, and used her sorcerery to lock the door so that they could not escape. The second lady flew straight to the leader, and morphed into a giant scorpion, mini scorpions came out of her robes and mouth. The army tried escaping, but it was impossible. The third lady threw her quill into the leader’s chest. He soon turned pale, and melted. The first lady that was now a snake coiled around the army.
“The cloud lady flew to the army and began to poison them by blinding them. The third lady brought about heat from the sun itself. Finally the fourth dropped her rock with a snake, which offered the finishing blow. Before you knew it, they were all lying on the ground, dead.
“These objects are the Finish Havens; each one does a special type of damage. They obey those who obey orders, and those with the power of the five brothers. In order to summon the true power of death, you must reunite all of them. Over the years, the Finish Havens have been lost, forever. No one knows if it is a myth or not, but we must keep aware if they are real. A moral I learned from this story, is to not be stubborn, karma will come around.”

Story 2 The Boy

It was a rainy afternoon, it wasn't quite surprising considering that it rained a lot in England. London is a bright city, everyone is delightful, the city is exciting, the history of everything was beautiful. The boy looked out his window down the dark street and thought about how his life was just the opposite of that.
He sat in a desolate room, there was a light that was nearly dead, a cabinet where he kept his clothes, even though he had no more than two pairs of pants, then there was a wooden chair, and a wooden desk.

The boy had very glum features, mainly consisting of combed brown hair, pale skin, grey eyes, and thin, drooping body parts. From the looks of it he was nine to ten years old, no less. He was a very creative boy, but his father killed his mother, then suicided from the grief. No one wanted to adopt him, so he ended up going to a foster home. Life was terrible afterwards, everything was dull, he was isolated from the greatness of London. Instead he just sat and watched everyone else live a life he wished he could.

Someone knocked on the door behind him, the boy said in a monotone voice, "come in."

The door opened and the boy turned around to see a beautiful woman that seemed to be in her twenties.

She announced while closing the door behind her, "why hello there, if I may ask, what is your name?"

The boy replied, "Jonathan White. Yours?"

"Katharine McSee. Tell me, do you know who I am?"

Jonathan answered, "are you the doctor?"

"No, I am not a doctor. I am capable of taking out depression."

"So are you some sort of wizard?"

"I am capable of magic, but I am no wizard Jonathan."

"Then explain yourself, Ma'am. Why are you here? Who are you? How do you know me?" asked Jonathan inquisitively.

"Okay Jonathan, I will tell you my tale. When I was a young school girl, my name was Evangeli, it is a real name, but barely anyone has that name. Could you imagine how much I was made fun of through out my life? I was bullied, but to make it worse, I was a 'nerd'. I was top of my class, so I got bullied even more than I would have with a stupid name. So I graduated, I was top of my class, heading towards Oxford University, life was depressing, but I was making something of it. I changed my name when I was eighteen, and I did great in college. I still was a depressed child, but one day a man came to my dorm and told me about my true potential. He told me I was given a gift of magic, I began to invest my time in practicing it until I became very skilled. Magic cured my depression, and I sought out to cure depression once and for all. To rid it from this world. I am now on a journey to cure all the children with depression, and this is where we are."

"Go ahead, try, let me see your magic, Ma'am."

Katherine smiled. She lifted her arms and an aura formed around her hands. Then she shot blobs of color at everything. Every blob splashed into colors. The room went from dull to colorful.

Jonathan smiled and started laughing and clapping. It was the most awesome thing he had ever seen. Katherine and a bright grin off of her beautiful face.

Jonathan looked around in awe, it felt as if a new life was born inside of him. A sort of feeling that he never had felt before. This feeling was happiness.

Katherine was exiting the room, but Jonathan said before she could go, "thank you so much, Miss, it really means a lot."

Katherine replied with a slight nod, "you are very welcome Jonathan, I will see you soon."

Jonathan watched as she left, he smiled, his depression was finally gone.

Story 1 The Eagles and the Crows

The eagles stood on their branches, next to their nests, looking around in confusion. You see, the four eagles were guarding their nests where spherical eggs were plopped down. These four eagles were magical eagles, not just any bird, but these guys had powers that could not be tested. Eagles are strong creatures, but these eagles were gods compared to the others.

There were loud barks swarming the few trees these eagles nested on, all you could hear was "CAW-CAW CAW-CAW" The noise never ended and it seemed as if it was coming from all directions, just at disorganized times. They came relentlessly, they never stopped, it seemed as if everything that was happening was an omen.

The eagles decided to figure out what was causing all the ruckus, so they made a plan. One eagle was left behind with the eggs, just to make sure that they would be safe. This eagle's name was "Hector". Many thought that Hector from "TROY" would return as a human, but actually Hector did return, except as an eagle, as a falconiform. This eagle was intelligent, but he also made a great warrior. He had the honor of royalty, more specifically a prince. He was very capable of protecting the eggs against evil forces, except last time, he tried to protect his people, but died tragically. This time he could avenge his failure.

The first of the three others was named "Caesar". Caesar was a legend in history, he was the brains of the team. He was also reborn, he himself was decent in strength, but he was smart enough to conquer France, Italy, and Egypt in a way that only a genius could figure out. He was also reborn to show that he was going to protect his people. He was going to fight like a true leader when he needed to, that was why he was stabbed by Brutus and Casca. So now Caesar can prove himself.

Next came "William the Conqueror!" The title sounded great, but his life wasn't as good. He conquered England, this is where he got the title the Conqueror. He was also the Duke of Normandy, where he ruled Normandy for 31 years. The last 21 years he had ruled England, so that left an extra three years with France. His greatest rival was a french ruler, and William was not smart enough to see if he invaded France furthermore, war would happen. He battled, but was severely injured, he damaged his internal organs, he realized his pain very quickly and left France. For a few months he lived miserably in pain. And at last, he died from it. William came back as well, he needed to redeem himself and correct his mistakes.

The final eagle was named Achilles, this eagle was the strongest and most athletic out of the four. He also had the most to regret about his life. He was the strongest person in the world, no one could defeat him. The problem there was that he went to war, but died trying to apologize. He realized that he should not have killed any of those many, many people in his life. He realized the deepest pit in hell would be waiting for him. He was a god among the living. He was nothing afterwards. He was a decent person, but his actions in war haunted him. This is why he came back to life. He had to fix his problem, his problem was perhaps un-fixable, but he came back non the less so he could try.

So the three eagles jumped from their branch and soared into the air. Then out of no where, they were being surrounded by a swarm of blackness. The noises got louder, the air carried waves of rapid movement. The swarm attacked and flew in circles around the eagles. Streaks of black made it nearly impossible for the eagles to see. Finally Caesar came up with a brilliant idea.

Caesar announced loudly so that the crows could hear with a human voice, even though he was an eagle, "i bring no harm. I just want to make something clear."

The crows started to slow down just a tad but they kept at their routine.

Caesar continued, "i'd like to apologize for neglecting my people. They killed me because they looked up to me, but I ignored them, like a bad leader. I am so very sorry."

A godly voice came from all around them. Not from any specific crow but it seemed as if all of them said it, but none of them said it. "You have been forgiven, now go back to your eggs, your people, love them, adore them for their normality. Normality is something we all wish we had, we'd all have the choice between good or evil. If you were godly, you would be made good or evil. This is why you are now a powerful eagle. Feel your power within, but feel the curse of it all being held back."

Caesar did what he was told, and flew back to his eggs. He tried flying but he kept falling and his wings would not work. Now he knew what it felt like not to be an exceptional person, but normal. You had to will yourself through even the simplest of things.

William next said, "I apologize for my ignorance to attack my enemies when they were already in pain. As a result, I had died myself. War and violence is not the solution to resolving fights. Being king does not mean everything."

The godly voice reappeared, and the birds slowed down furthermore. "Good, William. Your lesson is very important, we must not spread war, we must not rule over others, peace will never be achieved if this is how we solved our problems. Now excuse yourself from your mistakes and take care of your people instead of worrying about your enemies."

William then did what he was told and tried to fly back, but he too felt a weakness he had never felt before. It was normality, he needed a different type of strength. He wavered and fell into the branches many times. Hector was flying at him, actually past him, he was sent by Caesar to go meet the crows. William eventually found his way back to the eggs.

Hector saw the swarm of crows, and flew straight into them, once he was close enough a gap was made so that he could enter.

Achilles began his apology, "I am sorry, sir, for all the sins I have done in my lifetime. I have slaughtered many people, I had done it for war, and war is a terrible thing. I was a god amongst the living, but I am a sinner because of it. I am sorry and I regret killing all those people, and I know that hell wants me, but it is the best that I could let this off my chest before I enter. I had a triumphant life, but there is always a consequence."

The godly voice came once more, "Achilles, you are a very strong human. You lived a life full of sins, you made death appear more often in a lifetime than we have. But your guiltiness, your willingness to go to hell for it, your regret, all these things are making me forgive you. Go back to your nest, do not kill anything without apologizing to it before it dies. Nature provided it for you, apologize and thank it before you harm it."

Achilles exited the presence of the crows just like the others. With the weakness and strength of normality. Achilles was possibly the most powerful of all of them, so it was the most painful for him to experience this difference.

Hector guessed what he had to do off of Achilles' performance. Achilles had killed Hector, so he had a special awkwardness around him. But he was also dissapointed with Achilles because after all he had accidentally killed a loved one of Achilles. Hector felt guilt, and he faced Achilles like a man and apologized. Achilles was sad killing Hector in a duel, because Hector did not have the fight in him, but Achilles knew it was wrong, but he felt as if he had to avenge one of his close relatives.

Hector could not speak out. The godly voice spoke first. "Hector, you had slain men, you were a prince. But you are different from the others. You protected your people, you cared for them, you failed, you died, but you cared for them. They loved you, they were sad to see you fall, the Greeks were sad to see Achilles' impostor fall. Achilles killed you, but that was not right. That is his flaw, forgiveness. You gave your life for your people, you wished not to invade your enemies. Your enemies sinned by invading you. You did not attack first, you got attacked, but you protected your people instead of letting your people die. Then you did not kill people in vain. You only fought those who attacked you. Hector, you are an extraordinary person, not in a bad way like the others. You were made for greatness."

Hector began to change from an eagle, back into a human. He felt so much better as a human, he was floating in the air, after all he could not fly if he were a human. The crows began to fade from black to white.

The godly voice returned, "come Hector, you are not to have the same fate as the others."

Then everything turned white and the white birds brushed him, and took him into the whiteness. It wasn't just "whiteness" though. He was going to a better place, somewhere only sinners cannot.
